It has been quite some time since I have posted a blog. If you are receiving this email, it is because you have been involved with Wellspring Counseling Ministries or Wellspring Charitable Gardens at some point in time. My name is Cindi J. Martin, LCSW, the Director and Founder of the counseling ministry and the related community supported agriculture project (CSA) that helps to support our ministry. The blog incorporates elements from our Garden Ministry, our counseling ministry, and my new book called, Choosing Intimacy: Exploring Christ's Model for Mutuality and Deeper Relationships. This book incorporates my personal, professional and ministry experience and I am offering it to anyone who may be interested in purchasing it. You can purchase it on Barnes and Noble and Amazon web-sites or you can purchase a signed copy directly from us by sending a $20.00 check or money order to P.O. Box 96 Oakdale, CA 95361. If you are receiving this email and post in error or no longer want to be on our mailing box, please unsubscribe and accept my apologies.
So, back in the saddle again. I admit, I still have quite a learning curve when it comes to the technology of websites, email campaigns, and social media. I have been attempting to communicate more via social media but it seems every that every time I start to make some progress in the arena, I get thrown from my horse! This last time I contracted three treatment resistant forms of a staph infection during an oral surgery that began in November of last year and finally ended in a surgery on April 25th, 2024. I can finally say that I am recovered, gaining energy, and ready to begin writing some blogs and communicating with you again.
Glad to see you back in the saddle again, wonderful news! I would love a copy of the book. Do you happen to take Venmo or PayPal? ~ Crista Swier
It is so wonderful to learn that you have regained much of your strength. May God restore 100% of your previous vitality and then some, knowing that the strength He grants you will be devoted to serving Him with all your heart.
